The Australian International Symphony Orchestra Institute provides exciting training to aspiring
pre-professional orchestral musicians.Through working with acclaimed conductors,soloists and
instrumental tutors, the AISOI provides superb training and concert experience to young musicians.
Participants may decide to undertake studies in the school on a deferred HECS basis through
enrolment via a University of Tasmania Conservatorium of Music orchestral studies unit.

Scholarships are also available for certain instruments.
For two intensive weeks, young musicians from around Australia and overseas participate in a
tremendous program of rehearsals, masterclasses, orchestral sectionals and performances with
international guest conductors, soloists and leading Australian tutors drawn from the major
symphony orchestras of Australia.
